Russia - Pan Fried Potatoes

I really like the simplicity of this dish. Just some thinly sliced fried potatoes with salt and pepper. Apparently it's eaten as a side or for breakfast. Sounds like a lovely start to the day!

Ingredients:

3-4 potatoes
salt and pepper
spring onions to garnish


Slice the potatoes as thinly as you can.


Heat up a few tablespoons of oil and fry the potatoes for roughly 20-25 minutes until they have softened and browned some.


Add salt and pepper to taste along with some chopped spring onion greens to garnish.


These potatoes were great! Really crispy on the edges and soft in the centres. We all enjoyed them and I can see us having them again as a side often. Easy to prepare with simple seasoning, perfect :)
