The BB stands for Black Beauty which refers to the Balsamic vinegar and Worcestershire sauce used in this recipe. This seems like a good food to eat with the kids as they eat chicken in different kinds of sauces and ways these days.
Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts
5 garlic cloves
3 tbls balsamic vinegar
1 tbls worcestershire sauce
3 tbls oil
Bread buns
Salt & pepper
About 30 minutes before you want to cook the chicken, cut it into chunks and pace in a bowl. Add the worcestershire sauce and season with salt & pepper. Cover and put in the fridge.
Peel and slice the garlic cloves.
Saute the garlic in the oil and then add the chicken.
Continue to saute until almost cooked then add the balsamic vinegar.
Cook until the vinegar is bubbling and thickening. Put the chicken in the bread buns and drizzle with the vinegar liquid.
The chicken was tender with a subtle flavour from the other ingredients. It was different from how I've had chicken before and it seemed almost like chinese food flavouring. The bread rolls we got were perfect for the chunky chicken inside and made for a filling meal. JD and I enjoyed the sandwiches but the kids were unimpressed. Ah well, at least they try things before declaring them not to their taste nowadays! The best thing was how easy the chicken was to prepare with few ingredients, I always love that in a recipe.
